Transfer Policy

At Powder & Pistols, we accept firearm transfers, provided we are notified before your order or delivery. Failure to follow this policy may result in additional fees.

Transfer Fees:

  • $25.00 per item being transferred.
    • Discount for all 1st responders, military
  • Failure to Notify Fee: If you fail to notify us via in-person, phone, or email before ordering or delivery, an automatic $75 transfer fee will apply.

Requirements for Firearm Transfers:
To complete your firearm transfer, you must provide the following:

  • Up-to-date Driver’s License: Must display your current address.
  • Valid Permit: Either a firearms purchase permit or an Iowa CCW (Concealed Carry Weapon) permit.
  • Transfer Fee: $25.00 per item.
  • NICS Background Check: Required if you do not have a valid firearms purchase permit or Iowa CCW permit.

Storage Policy

If you are unable to pick up your transfer, purchase, or item dropped off for gunsmithing work within the specified timeframes, the following fees will apply:

  • After 1 Week: $25 storage fee added to the total cost.
  • After 1 Month: An additional $50 storage fee will be added to the final total.
  • Each Additional Month: A $50 storage fee will accumulate.
  • After 1 Year: If the item is not picked up within 1 year of arrival or completion, it will be considered abandoned and sold to recoup any accumulated fees.

Important Notes:

  • We will make only one successful contact about picking up your item. No follow-up contacts will be made.

Accuracy of Information

  • Pricing and Availability: Subject to change without notice.
  • Liability: TC Laser Engraving assumes no liability for orders resulting from typographical errors or incorrect pricing. We reserve the right to cancel any orders without providing a reason.
  • Corrections: TC Laser Engraving reserves the right to revoke offers or correct omissions, errors, or inaccuracies at any time, even if an order has been submitted, confirmed, or your credit card charged.
